To Customers Impacted by Tornadoes

On March 18, 2024, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine declared a state of emergency for multiple counties impacted by tornadoes Thursday evening. DeWine issued the order for 11 counties after the National Weather Service ruled that eight tornadoes touched down. The counties under a state of emergency include those in yellow as most likely areas of customer impact: Auglaize, Crawford, Delaware, Hancock, Licking, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Richland, and Union.

Our thoughts go out to those impacted by the recent tornadoes. Middlefield Bank is offering temporary relief efforts through our Borrower Assistance and Financial Hardship Programs. We understand that our customers and businesses may be facing financial adversities from or related to the tornadoes. Please contact your local banker/lender to learn more about the options available to you.

Insurance Claims

The Ohio Department of Insurance has created this toolkit to help Ohioans be safer and more financially prepared when severe weather strikes and more familiar with how to navigate the recovery process. You can utilize this toolkit as an accompaniment when preparing a safety plan for you and your family, and in conversations with an agent when reviewing your insurance protections. If you are facing a claim-filing situation, turn to the toolkit for clarity on steps to follow to get you back on your feet faster.
